Every plan is built around one idea: when you walk down to the dock, the boat runs. No dead battery on a Saturday morning, no trailer ride to a dealer, no two-week wait. Southwest Florida's #1 maintenance company, 5.0 on Google, at your lift, on your schedule, with photos the same day.
For the owner on the water every weekend
The mechanic who knows your boat
For the owner up north from spring to Thanksgiving
Every plan is written for your boat: the visits, the work, and anything you ask for, and it comes out as one flat number, in writing, before anything starts. Call or text, and we walk the boat with you.

Most island boats sit from spring to Thanksgiving. A boat that sits is the boat that will not start in December: the battery is flat, the fuel has separated, the impeller has taken a set, and the lower unit has been weeping into the canal for four months while nobody looked.
Dock Care turns that around. On your schedule the engines run, the water moves through them, the batteries come up, the fuel bowl is drained, and you get the photos wherever you are. The day you land, the boat is ready. When a storm is named, members get first call for the prep visit.
Home watch takes care of the house. We take care of the boat. If you already have a home-watch company, we work with them: one gate code, one schedule, and the report goes to whoever you want it to.
No two docks are the same. Twins or triples, a generator, sea strainers, a lift or a slip, the months you are away, who holds the gate code. The first visit is a walk around the boat with you. We build the plan together: how often we come, what we do each visit, and anything you want watched, and we write one flat number before anything starts.
Month to month, no annual contract, cancel with thirty days' notice. Card or bank on file, billed on the first. The full annual outboard service goes on the calendar at member pricing, so it never gets skipped.
What it is not: parts and repairs (quoted in writing, member pricing on the labor), the full annual service itself (member price, parts included), haul-out, bottom cleaning, detailing, fiberglass, transport, or work on the lift or the seawall. If a job is outside our lane, we say so in one call and point you somewhere good.
Fastest way: call or text the boat and where it sits to (239) 834-8532. Or send it here and we call you to set the first visit.
Route days are set by area, so your visit lands the same week every time. Sanibel and Captiva (Shell Harbor, Sanibel Isles, Sanibel Estates, the Captiva marinas), Fort Myers Beach and San Carlos Island, Pine Island (St. James City, Bokeelia), Boca Grande, the Cape Coral canals (Cape Harbour, Tarpon Point, Pelican, Burnt Store), the Fort Myers river (McGregor, Whiskey Creek, Iona), Estero Bay, Naples (Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, Royal Harbor), Marco Island (Isles of Capri, Goodland), and Punta Gorda Isles.
Is this a boat-watch service or a mechanic?
Both, and that is the point. A boat-watch service can tell you the engine would not start. We are the mechanics: when we find it, we fix it, with a written quote first.
Weekly, monthly or seasonal: which one is mine?
Weekly if you are on the water every weekend and want it ready every time. Monthly if you want the mechanic who knows your boat on it once a month, with photos. Seasonal if you are away part of the year and want it looked after until you land. We help you pick on the walk-through, and you can switch any time.
I'm only here part of the year. Which plan is that?
Seasonal, and that is when the boat needs it most. A boat that sits is the boat that will not start the day you land. We run it, flush it, keep the batteries up, and send the photos to wherever you are.
What happens if you find a problem?
You get the photo and a written quote the same day. Nothing is done without your yes. Members get first call on the schedule and member pricing on the labor.
What does Dock Care cost?
One flat number, written for your boat on the walk-through: weekly, monthly or seasonal, how many engines, how the boat is kept, and anything you ask us to watch. Text us the make, model, number of engines and where the boat sits, and we set the walk-through.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Weekly in season, monthly the rest of the year, seasonal when you are away. Tell us, and the plan changes from the next visit.
Is there a contract?
Month to month. One page in plain English: what is included, what is not, how billing works, and how to stop, with thirty days' notice in writing. No annual commitment.
Do you need keys or a gate code?
Usually a gate code or a lift remote, sometimes a key for the cabin or the battery switch. They are held by the company and never written in a text thread. If you already have a home-watch company, we work with them.
Do you do the annual service too?
Yes. Every member's full annual outboard service is done at member pricing, parts included, priced by the engine's serial number, and it goes on the calendar so it never gets skipped.
Which boats is this for?
Outboard boats, roughly 20 to 40 feet, Yamaha, Mercury and Suzuki, kept on a lift, in a slip or at a dock. Cummins-powered cruisers are written case by case.
Does it include the lift?
We look at the straps, cables and bunks on every visit and tell you what we see. Lift service itself is a lift company's job, and we will tell you who to call.
Weekly, monthly or seasonal: text us the make, model, number of engines and where the boat sits. We come walk the boat with you, build the plan, and the first visit goes on the calendar. We answer 24/7, Sundays and holidays.
