Nobody else here publishes a price. We do.
The most common question we get is also the one most shops won't answer on the phone. Here is how mobile boat repair is priced, what is and isn't included, and how to get a number before anyone touches the boat.
The diagnostic visit is a flat $200 during regular hours, 6am to 4pm. That covers the trip to your dock, lift or driveway anywhere in Southwest Florida and the time to find the actual cause, with the tools to test it rather than guess.
After hours, Sundays and holidays, the call-out is $295. That is the 4pm-to-6am window, when a boat that has to run tomorrow can't wait. Calls and texts are answered around the clock either way.
Repairs are quoted before the work starts. Once we know what it is, you get the parts and labor number and you say yes or no. Parts, labor and sales tax are separate lines on the invoice. No surprise total at the end.
What does not change the number: where you are in Southwest Florida, or whether the boat is at a dock, a lift, or a driveway.
We won't start a repair without telling you the price first, and we won't quote a job we haven't looked at. A number over the phone for an engine nobody has tested is a guess, and a guess is how surprise invoices happen. The diagnostic visit exists so the quote you get is the real one.
You call or text with the boat, the engine and the problem. We set a time, come to the boat, find the cause, and give you the parts-and-labor price on the spot. Most of the time the repair happens on the same visit.
Regular hours (6am–4pm): a $200 diagnostic visit. We come to the boat, find the actual cause, and quote parts and labor before any work starts. After hours, Sundays and holidays: a $295 call-out. Parts, labor and sales tax always show as separate lines on the invoice, so you can see exactly what you paid for.
What does the diagnostic visit include?
The trip to the boat and the testing to find the cause. The repair is a separate quote you approve before any work starts.
Do you charge extra for Naples or Punta Gorda?
No. The same diagnostic and call-out prices apply across Southwest Florida.
Why is after-hours more?
It is the 4pm-to-6am window plus Sundays and holidays. The call-out is $295 because it means dropping everything and driving out then, and most shops will not come at all.
